Jugaba con una inmensa alegr\u00eda de vivir, cantando \"Under the old apple tree\" al azar en el campo o luciendo sus palos que eran 5 o 10 cm m\u00e1s largos.  Tanto que ten\u00eda que llevar una bolsa especial para protegerlos.  Curiosamente desapareci\u00f3 en el campo de golf de La Moraleja, a menos de 5Km de mi residencia espa\u00f1ola, de un infarto tras una muy buena partida de golf.  Su mujer, cuando le comunicaron su fallecimiento, pregunt\u00f3 por las circunstancias de su muerte y se alegr\u00f3 de saber que ese d\u00eda hab\u00eda hecho una buena puntuaci\u00f3n.
