Adventure in Augusta

Thanks to Mr Bernard Marie, mayor of Biarritz and on the occasion of the twinning of the city of Biarritz with the city of Augusta, we had the chance to be invited to a wonderful trip to Augusta during which we played a meeting in Augusta National but also to play on THE Augusta course. I had been appointed captain and was accompanied by wonderful players like Valérie Michaud and Sandrine Mendiburu (among others). What memory!

Worplesdon Foursomes

Considered as the Mixed Doubles Championship in Foursomes (GB)

In 1963 Hervé Frayssineau and I played this very funny competition. In spectators Roger Wethered Who won it with my mother, Simone Thion de la Chaume in 1927. Lally Segard also won it in 1962. A few years later I won it with Pepe Gancedo (Spain).
